Looks like czech railways are serious about renewing their fleet, just recently they ordered 33 RegioShuttles from Stadler Rail.

It had to be expected that SBB will get rid of their ETR 470 (Cisalpino-Pendolino) - they only have 4 of them and they're unreliable. But the timing surprises me: I have no idea what they want to replace those trains with. All would have been easier a few years from now: SBB will order new international tilting trains this year, but I doubt those will be delivered before 2014. And the Gotthard base tunnel, which will probably make tilting trains unnecessary on that route, opens only in 2017. Finally, to my knowledge there are no plans to buy additional ETR 610. Well, we'll see.
