I think there is no problem with your english.
I also think there reason for so many comments in the CNL-thread is, you are the first "not-german-speaking-user". (I hope there are many more in future).
In the CNL-thread the main oppinion is: You're welcome!

Man weiß genau, was du damit sagen willst. Ob es jetzt grammatikalisch astrein ist, interessiert doch kein Schwein. Somit sagt der Bayer: Basst scho! :-)

Allerdings ist doch ein kleiner "sprichwörtlicher" Fehler enthalten: "You're welcome" bedeutet "Gern geschenen!" ...lernen wir in der 1. Klasse Gymnasium/Mittelschule/Hauptschule.
User, die in die Schule gehen, können (im Forum) Englisch besser lesen, verstehen, schreiben,... da sie die Sprache (fast) jeden Tag verwenden.
