Hello,

Do you know, what DB plan CNL in future? Can we look forward new CNL.
This year end up CNL Eridabus and Lopus.


I want (desing): CNL 452/453 "Orion" Prag Hbf. 19:40-Dresden hbf. 21.51-Berlin hbf. 0.34-Hamburg hbf. 3:58 (linked with CNL482)-Koebenhavn 9:59

Kobenhaven (18:53) (linked with CNL483) Hamburg (0:31) Berlin (4:20)(linked with CNL 457) Prag (9.30)

WLABmz ČD - Bcvmz DB - Bomz DB - WLABdmnu PKP* (*From Warzsava on train EN jan Kiepura)

Is really this train? Or is absurdity.

Lupus München - Rom will arrive also next year.

This year ends Eridanus Wien - Amsterdam/Dortmund and APUS Mailand - Amsterdam/Dortmund.

And "Orient-Expreß" Strasbourg - Karlsruhe - Wien - Budapest, linked with Danubius Frankfurt - Karlsruhe - Wien - Budapest.

Good idea.

Maybe problems:

1.) Maybe trains are to long.
2.) The time for change coaches in Hannover is very short.

EN 446 arrives in Hannover 2:15 a.m., EN 482 leaves Hannover 2:36 a.m.

Opposite direction:

EN 483 arrives in Hannover 2:13 a.m., EN 447 leaves Hannover 2:38 a.m.


Solution:

The coaches runs directy between Berlin and Hamburg in or as a separate train.

So, die Brocken Schulenglisch waren bestimmt eine Zumutung... Aber trotzdem nochmal kurz in Deutsch:

Die Idee hat was! Allerdings weiß ich jetzt nicht, ob die Züge zu lang würden angesichts evtl. zusätzlicher Wagen. Außerdem dürfte der "Anschluß" 446 --> 482 bzw. 483 --> 447 in Hannover nach derzeitigem Fahrplan zu knapp sein für das Umrangieren. Man sollte ja bedenken, dass noch mehr rangiert wird und dann nicht immer alles auf die Minute pünktlich eintrudelt. Inwieweit man unterwegs die Zeiten strecken oder kürzen kann, vermag ich aber nicht zu beantworten.

Lösung wäre vielleicht, zwischen Berlin und Hamburg die Wagen in einem oder als separaten Zug zu führen.

Yes, time in Hannover is problem. I prefer CNL inter Berlin and Hamburg go like EC 172-176. No across Hannover.

Yes, you can! A direct overnight service from Brussels to Stockholm is planned Summer 2010.
However, I'm not sure if this will be a CNL.

The Stockholm - Brussels train is a ghost train!

Yes, it stays at http://www.treinreiziger.nl/actueel/buitenland/mogelijk_nieuwe_nachttrein_brussel_-_sto... an on Swedish infrastructure authority Banverket's hompage (I think, I also read about it in Today's Railways Europe).

But: I also read about that train in the swedish railwayforum Postvagnen. There I read that this train is every year in the timetable-plannings, but never in the timetable.

Er taucht regelmäßig in der schwedischen Fahrplanvorschau auf, aber nie im Fahrplan.

the train Brussels - Stockholm would have two main problems:

1. A very short time at Stockholm. He would return after only 90 minutes. Because of that nigttrains are often delayed this can be a problem.
2. The train will be for slow in Sweden. If you change at Malmö or Lund to a swedish X2000-train you will be faster.

I don't think that that train will come.
