CZ: Berlin-Prag-Wien in 4 Stunden? Netz-Umelektrifizierung? (Allgemeines Forum)
Hallo ICE-Fans,
In 1936, Czechoslovak State Railway (ČSD) introduced its two class M290.0 Slovenská strela (Slovakian Arrow) diesel units and connected Prague with Bratislava in 4hr 18min. By the 2040s, it should be possible to go all the way from Berlin to Vienna via Prague in slightly less time.
Bahnhof halten:
The new Brno hl.n station design has parallels with Rotterdam, with an imposing entrance building and high roof canopies over the platforms. The new 14-platform station will be located roughly 1km south of the existing Brno hlavní nádraží (main) station, which dates from 1838 and is built next to the former city walls. When complete, the new station, on the site of the existing little-used Brno dolní nádraží station on the city’s freight avoiding line, will replace the old main station, allowing redevelopment of substantial railway land nearer the city centre.
Man erwartet 2035.
+ ICE International Frankfurt-Dresden-Prag?
+ ICE International Berlin-Wien?
+ Velaro CZ Prag-Kopenhagen, Prag-Warschau, Prag-Budapest?
+ RegioJet, LEO Express und FlixSpeed mit CRRC-Renntriebwagen?
Auch interessant, zumindest hier in NL:
In 2017, plans were announced to convert all the existing 3kV DC electrification in the Czech Republic to 25kV AC, which will affect 1,796 route kilometres of the national network, largely in the north and west of the country.
Ist die Umstellung 3kV= -> 25kV~ wesentlich leichter als die von 1500V= -> 25kV~?
gruß,
Oscar (NL).

Trans-Europ-Express 2.0?
