380 is new lokomotive from Skoda Plzeň. Yes lokomotive will go with Eurocity to Dresden(Berlin), Wien and Budapest. This lokomotive can go 200 km/h. Vmax is 220 km/h. 380 will be deployed from december 2010. Aktually are testing by ČD Cargo.

it looks like CD has begun trials of the new Class 380 electric locos.
Is there a chance that we will see these locos in Germany someday (Eurocity services)?
At least, the Class 380 is multi-voltage, but I'm not sure if these machines have LZB equipment (which is needed for speeds over 160 km/h in Germany).

Das ist doch die Lok die vor zwei Jahren in Berlin zu sehen war. Mich als Lokführer konnte die Lok nicht überzeugen, aber wer weiß was in den vergangenen zwei Jahren alles verbessert wurde.
